Aebleskiver Mornings

A long standing tradition in the Schmidt household (and I'm not talking mine here) is Aebleskiver on the weekends. Aebleskiver is a scandinavian "pancake ball" (Don't shoot me Jeff) for those of you who aren't familiar with it. They are wonderful little things that you can stuff with jams, curds, cinnamon and sugar, honey, meat, cheese, nutella, etc. One of my first Christmas presents from Oma was an aebleskiver pan so that I could keep the tradition going in our family. One of hundreds of photos of Oma cooking up a batch of the aebleskiver.
Isaac and Opa anxiously awaiting as the smell of aebleskiver wafts throughout the house.
Isaac gets his first aebleskiver.... and LOVES it! No jams or goodies stuffed into his though.
The family preparing to dig into the bowls piled with aebleskiver and the table set with yummy treats to stuff inside them.
