th- Isaac has discovered that he can kick the ball while we hold him up by his hands. he'll walk along and kick the ball. he gets the biggest "kick" when someone kicks the ball back to him.
th- Isaac loves Bananas! He loved them pureed when he was little, but he really loves them as finger food. he loves smashing them and eating them. he has a bit of a challenge getting them into his mouth, but he's getting better at it.
th- Tonight Isaac played a laughing game with his dad. Jeff would purposely laugh to cause Isaac to laugh. Pretty soon Isaac was doing the same raucous laughter which not only got Jeff to laugh for real, but pulled mom in on the fun too. Isaac had wheat and graham crackers for the first time and really loved them.
th- I have noticed that Isaac is getting up on his hands and knees more. Forward progress! He is also wanting us to help him walk more too!
th- I love listening to you babble on talking away. Lots of raspberries, snorts, brrrrs, blowing of cheeks and more. You crack me up. Even more so with that fake laugh you use to get us to laugh. What a comedian!
th- Taken from the journal, "By about eleven months of age, your baby may be able to roll a ball to another person on request." Isaac started doing this at about 9 months of age and gets a total kick out of it. I might be a nervous nelly mom, but I have started worrying about Isaac's reactions to certain noises. I scooted a box on the floor of the garage and he started screaming yesterday. Today, I took the car through the auto wash and he freaked out at the whirring sounds. It's starting to really add up. Is it a hearing problem or something much worse? or am I just a worry wort? (Turns out that it's the latter! ;D)
