44 Weeks Old

On Wednesday, January 20th, Isaac turned 44 weeks old. Here are the journal entries for that week: 14th- You are growing up so quickly. where has the time gone? Last year this time I was big and pregnant with you. I love you!

15th- Isaac has started having nightmares/terrors. He has woken up a couple of nights screaming and refuses to be calmed by the usual means. tonight Isaac ate at Pizza Hut and had shredded cheddar, bits of crackers, and a few bites of the pizza crust, sauce and cheese. He really liked it. He must be a Schmidt.

16th- Isaac seems to either be getting sick or cutting another tooth. He seems a bit cranky.

17th- He seems worse today and he's been rubbing his thumb on his upper gums.

18th- 10 Months Old! I can't believe I have a 10 month old today. The time is really flying by. What happened to my little guy? I love you, Isaac. May God bless this next month of growth for you!

19th- Isaac has decided that he can walk without our help on his wobbly little legs. Of course, he can't- yet, but he thinks he can. Tonight he threw up for the first time. Everything was covered. Dad bathed him while I did the cleanup job. No sooner was he dressed and then he purged himself again. I hope he sleeps through the night and that's the end of it.

20th- Isaac did two new things tonight. He pulled himself up to a standing position on the dishwasher which he has been trying to do for some time now. He also clapped his hands tonight and would even clap my hand after I showed him how. Yeah!
