On Isaac's very first birthday, he got up and got right to work looking for his presents. Since it wasn't party time yet, we decided to take the kids to the beach. (Thank you G-mom Tina for the great party outfit!)
Isaac offered to drive Pop's truck, but we turned him down. Dad decided that he would do the driving instead.

Once we got there, we decided that we were pretty hungry so we made a stop at Flanigans.
Finally, we are at the beach......
Isaac was definitely not too sure about the beach scene after all....
He was very curious about the sand though.....
Dad took him off towards the water to introduce him to the Atlantic Ocean for the first time.
He definitely decided that he probably didn't want to get into that water.
Clinging to dad for dear life....
Dad tries to reassure the little guy that all would be fine.
He decides that he wants to take off with mom instead.
Still very curious about that sand and why won't anyone let him down on it....
Mom takes off with Pop in search of beach treasures...
After romping through the surf, mom turns around to find out that her shorts are a bit soaked.
Isaac checking out mom's treasures, decides that she needs more...
Just stay away from that water mom.....
Mom gives him kisses of reassurance....
And then plops him down into the sand....
With the water washing over his bare tootsies...
Mom found another treasure!
Isaac decides to hang out with sister where he knows he's safe since Bethany hates the salt water. Crazy kid!
