Bethany arrives at college.... We miss her
sooooo much. Unfortunately, I am having to blackmail her with this picture until she sends me some. Hint, hint, hint!

Isaac has to find new things to occupy his mornings now. No longer can he call out "
Bahp" and expect sister to come out of her bedroom wondering why he's waking her up so early.

So, he's decided to become a superhero. We aren't sure which one just yet, but all of a sudden he has taken to wearing capes.....

Sometimes he has a hard time putting his cape on and he just makes do with however he can get it on.

And, sometimes, he is so overcome that he just
kerplunks down on the floor wondering when she'll return.

On second thought, Isaac has decided he no longer wants to be a super hero. He wants to be a ghost. He walks through the house with his specter blanket on and ...ouch....also runs into things.

Isaac thinks it is all funny though and he puts on a good front so his sister won't worry about him. Everyone morning though when he gets up from bed and sees his sister's pictures in the hall, he has to point at the time and say "
Bahp".

Since apparently she isn't returning anytime soon, he has decided to fill his days with playing the
ukulele.

A self taught prodigy, he knows exactly how he wants it tuned.

The music that comes from the
lil guitar is needless to say.... stunning.

Isaac has also really gotten into football lately. Here he dons the Hawaiian Warrior colors.

But, of course, we all know that he is a true Ducks fan! Let's not forget that....

He has also been thinking of taking up modeling part time as well. Anything to fill the days until his sister returns.

He keeps a bright and cheerful face, but the only way that he can get through the days is knowing that there is a football game to be watched on Saturday.

Isaac's name has made the streets now and he's been called in to play a couple of gigs in October. Thankfully, he fans will be visiting him to hear his beautiful music.

He has been practicing very hard. Working on difficult melodies that even the most talented struggle with.

But, he does believe that he has finally got it. He has mastered those fine tunes.

So, he sits down with his Daddy and shows him exactly how to work those strings to make them sizzle.

Unfortunately, no matter what Isaac does to fill his days, there is no escaping the teeth that persist in making him drool, moan, groan, cry, slobber, sneeze, etc....

And, it just basically lays him out flat on the floor...... to cheer him up though he has asked mom to do a bit of photo play with the camera. That's right folks, he went and got the camera and asked for a
photoshoot.

Isaac in a very serious moment. This could be the cover for his
Uke album coming out in the fall.

He's ready for action now. What shall we do mom? Maybe attack you?

Quite possibly, just love on momma .......

Or maybe not, give me that camera, mom!

Donning his superman outfit, he flies off to save innocent lives....

Having trouble with keeping his cape on, he asks mom to fix it.

After he gets fixed up, he runs off to talk to his
Oma on the phone about his latest plans to keep busy.

Isaac has become quite the
fashionista while his sister has been away..... and yes, he did pick out those shoes to wear with his outfit.

Another hobby Isaac has picked up is drawing. He draws wonderful designs and pictures everyday. He has mailed some of his latest works out to grandparents and has created a special edition picture which he hopes to mail out soon to his sister.

A close up of his work,
shhhh.... Do you think he takes after Rembrandt or Monet? Maybe
Renoir or
Gauguin? Maybe even Dali.....

A lot of time is just spent with hanging out with Daddy. He loves that Daddy so much. They even have matching hats which Isaac likes to wear all the time because it matches his Daddy's hat.

And, together they sit and they root for the Ducks!
GOOOOOOOOOOO DUCKS!

They are very happy together. Isaac has thought about joining the Ducks football team and even got one of their jerseys to start practicing in, but he was told, "NO FOOTBALL!", by his
Oma.

So here we are wearing our favorite
raccoon beanie that sister liked in a store. He has established his routines to get him through the time of sister being gone and please don't try to deter him from them. Or, he'll let you know about it.
