24 and 25 Weeks Old

Once again, somehow a week has slipped through where we didn't take any photos of the guy or maybe they are on the cell phones. I really need to have Jeff and Bethany and myself send them to my email so I can cull through and post if there are any worth posting. However, since I am at this time period, I must go ahead and do the journal entries for both weeks. I am really trying to get caught up. I'm sure there wasn't anything major that we would be missing! ;-)

On Wednesday, September 2nd, Isaac turned 24 weeks old. Here are the journal entries from that week:

27th- He can hold his bottle and feed himself now!

28th- Isaac feeds himself on a regular basis now. He loves holding the bottle.

29th- Whenever you want me and you are crying you reach out to me to pick you up.

30th- You love sucking on diaper wipes like your sister. Whenever I clean your face after a meal you stick your tongue out to lick them. YUCKY!

31st- Your first time in a daycare. Mom goes to workout and you go to daycare. You still aren't sure about these strangers that take you away from mommy. I about cried and took you away when I saw another child take a toy away from you. It broke my heart that you were being picked on first thing.

1st- It amazes me how far off the ground you can push yourself up. You scooch around all over the place too. I think I will be really busy chasing you when you start crawling. You LOVE real food. The food mommy makes you now brings smiles to your face which emit lil yummy sounds with the first bite. I LOVE YOU!

2nd- Isaac is eating bananas now and loves them. I still think that applesauce is his favorite though. On Wednesday, September 9th, you turned 25 weeks old! I love these pictures where you are helping mommy garden. Thanks buddy! I don't know how I could have gotten all of that work done without you supervising my activities! Here are the journal entries for the week:

3rd- You are doing better in daycare now and you don't give me such ugly looks when I pick you up.

4th- You had your first ear infection. They put you on Amoxil. You felt well enough to flirt with the doctor though.

5th- You love having your daddy around. You really shine for your family. You love it when Bethie sits in the backseat with you. You like to greet her upon entering and chat with her sometimes if you aren't too busy playing with your toys.

6th- You are getting so big. You seem to grown overnight where something that fit you yesterday doesn't fit you today.

7th- Your first Labor Day! You have the sweetest little baby laugh. You love to screech. It totally tickles us!

8th- You love to wrap yourself up in your play blanket. Which sometimes puts you right to sleep like tonight!

9th- Tonight you wanted to be wrapped in your floor blankie and then laid on the floor gazing at me. I picked you up and you fell right to sleep. You are such a beautiful child. I am so lucky to have Bethie and you!
