On Wednesday, January 6
th, Isaac turned 42 weeks old. Here are the journal entries from that week:

31st- New Years Eve! We found out that Isaac doesn't have pneumonia. Praise GOD! Just an upper respiratory infection is all. He has improved
dramatically during the day. By bedtime hardly any coughing!!!!
1st- Happy New years, Sweet Isaac! Isaac is slowly on the mend, but seems to be feeling better every day.

2
nd- Isaac doesn't seem to be improving. We had to give him a
nebulizer treatment again. He has a very wet cough and chest was
rattly.
3rd- Isaac has discovered that he really enjoys to open and close things especially doors which poses a
problem when he lies behind the door afterwards. It makes it a little hard to open it back up.

4
th- Isaac was so bummed when he woke up to find "
da da" had gone back to school. We had to go in each room to look for "
da da" always with a smile then ending in a concerned look and "
da da?". Deciding "
da da" was no where to be found he went to eat his breakfast.
5
th- You have been testing limits today, young man. You have been into EVERYTHING and won't take no for an answer. Your sister was much better about
the"no touch" command. You, however, are making me eat my words on childproofing. I think you gave me at least 5 new gray hairs today. Ah...but I love you!

6
th- Isaac fell asleep on dad's chest tonight. It was so sweet and made us remember when we used to have to rock him to sleep. While it's nice to have that freedom of him being able to put himself to sleep, we do miss that cuddle time with him.
