On Wednesday, May 13th, Isaac turned 8 weeks old. Amazing that my baby is 2 months old. As a parent, you tend to wonder where the time went. I think that it's amazing that only a mere 2 months ago I was pregnant. Here are my journal entries for the week:
7th- Your schedule has been completely messed up by the packers who kept you awake all day with their noise. You don't seem terribly upset, but try as you might.... no sleep.
8th- Isaac's fontanel in the back has closed. He loves playing in my hair and occassionally it gets pulled.... out.
9th- Gave mom a huge gummy smile today. The best part of my day.
10th- My first Mother's Day with you! You rolled over on your right side and then rolled back onto your tummy. Not to be done with momentous (notice the first 3 letters...) moments (again), you used your little toes and scooted on your belly all the way down your play mat approximately 6 inches or so. Do you know you are only 2 months old?
11th- I love having quiet time with my boy. Amazing that when he leans against me and stiffens his legs, he can actually stand without me holding onto him. Again, Buddy, you are only 2 months old!
12th- Isaac giggled for me twice today. Actually it sounded more like a gurgle than a giggle, but it made me smile anyways. I noticed that when I give himn a bottle now he is big enough to sit in my lap rather than in my arms. My boy is growing!
13th- 8 Weeks Old Today! I am just amazed at how big you are getting! You even held your own bottle again today!!! You love your carrier, and I love that little thing about you.

He's an amazing boy. He seems way ahead of what he should be doing at this age. Busy guy. He looks so adorable.
