Haymarket Square

It's a Saturday. What do you do on a Saturday in Leavenworth? You head down to the local farmer's market at Haymarket Square. We loaded Isaac up and a way we went. There were around 15 vendors there. Not very many, but a wide range of products to choose from and a great selection of veggies. They had bread, baked goods, honey, soap, meat, fruit, veggies, popcorn, jams and so much more. It was a really neat experience and we really enjoyed it. Afterwards, we headed downtown for a little look-see. I have to say Leavenworth has a very nice little downtown area. It seems like it is in a "come-back" stage and doing very well. They have all kinds of shops including a British Tea Shoppe, Polish Pottery, antiques, quilting, dentistry, furniture, a saloon, a pub and soooo much more.

On a side note, I have decided to add a topic for the day since I seem to be soooo far behind in posting pictures. This way you will know what is current in our lives.
Today's Topic: We (the family) joined a gym this weekend and had our strength test. For not working out in a year, I did surprisingly well! Tomorrow is my first class. I hope I can walk after the strength test. haha.
