10 Weeks Old

Forgive the blurriness of this picture, but it was too cute to pass up.

Anyways, Isaac turned 10 Weeks old on Wednesday, 27 May. Here are the journal entries for that week: 21st- We went to COL Borg's farewell picnic and you got to see your baby buddies, Bohdi and Karis there. That was exciting for you since you love looking at other little kids. It gets you very excited.

22nd- We went to Toys-R-Us today because you only like a certain type of pacifier and we wanted to make sure that you had plenty in case your favorite got lost. While we were there we ended up buying you your first soccer ball. You love it!

23rd- Isaac has been a trouper at night lately. When he wakes up we take him out of his crib (around 2:30am) and I put him to breast. About 4am he wakes back up and then I switch sides with him. He'll then sleep till about 6am and either he gets a bottle or I switch sides with him again. Then we wake back up again about 8am. The best part is that everyone is sleeping quite a bit lately... includiding our neighbors!

24th- Isaac has seemed to develop some new cries that differ from a baby cry. It is more of a complaining cry like, "Hey! Did you forget about me?" or "Hey! I'm hungry!" He also has a sad type cry when he accidentally gets hurt or has a bad dream.

25th- Today we went swimming at Burglengenfeld Schwimbad. It was his first time. He loved it. On top of that, his parents were naughty with Is having his first bite of vanilla icecream at the Eis Cafe in Parsberg! So cute, that icky look he got on his face with the first bite, but after that he knew exactly what to do with that spoon.

26th- Isaac has found his thumb this morning and popped it right in his mouth. This is the second day without a nap! Even with everything we did yesterday- no nap. He was up from 8am-8pm! Today, he was up from 6am-9pm. Weirdly enough he wasn't a bit cranky yesterday, but he sure is today!

27th- Kept fighting his nap, so I put him in his crib with the rolladens down with the bed vibrator and sleep sheep on. It's been 15 minutes and no peep! I hope this works and he isn't fussy like he has been.
