Weeks Old

On Wednesday, May 20th, Isaac turned 9 weeks old. We had some new firsts that I'm excited to share with you. He is becoming more and more interactable as time goes on. Here are my journal notes for the week: 14th- There is nothing that melts my heart more than when i get a big gummy smile from you in the mornings.
th- Didn't feel well all day. Slept most of the day away and the time you were awake you cried and fussed. Tylenol seemed to help a little bit. Dad and me are sick so maybe you are too.
th- Slept all day. Very cranky. Won't breastfeed. Up every hour during the night.
th- Grabbed and held his paci for the first time while we were skyping with Oma and Opa. Still very fussy!
th- Today you are 2 months old! How exciting! We went to visit the doctor and got all of your measurements. You also had your first shots which made mom cry right along with you. I love you little man!
th- Played with activity mat for the first time by batting at the toys and was even able to make it play music. Yeah, Isaac! After several months of praying and talking over several candidates, we decided to ask Auntie Tina to be your Godmother. She was with your mommy through the last deployment together and she is like family. She is also of the same faith as we are so we know that she will take care of you in the Lord. We will make it official on the 31st at church!
th- Amazed by how patient he can be except when he's hungry and then he needs to be fed YESTERDAY!
