33 Weeks Old

On Wednesday, November 4th, Isaac turned 33 weeks old. Here are the journal entries from that week: 29th- Today I discovered that Isaac was trying to tickle me. He kept scratching at my chest. so I pretended that it tickled and laughed. he laughed and I tickled him. He then tickled me back and we repeated the game. It's the first time he has done this and I thought it was so cute.
30th- Isaac had Gerber Peach Puffs cereal which are finger foods. he hasn't gotten the concept of hand to mouth feeding. He tried once but never would let go of the puff. Another time he put it in the palm of his fist and with his other hand tried to pry his fingers open to retrieve the puff. We had a good chuckle on that one.
31st- Tonight was Isaac's first Halloween. He was so cute. He outgrew his giraffe costume and his sister decided that they needed to dress up like lumberjacks. Isaac loved the play ax so much that he wouldn't let his sister have it. he chewed on it the whole time. So cute!
1st- Isaac, always know that behind every cloud there is a ray of sunshine. This weekend I was very sick and daddy had to take care of you completely. I know you missed me, but I could really tell how much you loved all the attention from daddy. tomorrow it will be back to the normal routine, but at least you had this weekend of guy time. I missed you lil man.
2nd- Isaac has become a champ of sitting up. He doesn't topple over nearly as much these days. Way to go, Isaac!
3rd- Yesterday was Isaac's first try with cauliflower. he hated it and spit it back out. tongith I mixed it with zucchini and he ate more of it. He also ate all of his asparagus which is another challenging food for him. I did mix it with applesauce but he still ate it. Yeah, Isaac!
4th- Isaac had his first meat today. He had turkey. He seemed to like it okay compared to the last couple of foods that I have introduced to him. he did yell when I gave it to him, but he kept eating and didn't spit it back out despite the texture.
