Sorry that I haven't updated in awhile. I am just tired all the time now. I don't have much energy to get things accomplished. I think in a way Jeff is happy because he doesn't have to worry about me overdoing it now. I am huge or at least I feel like it. I still haven't gained any weight back or any additional weight on top of that. Not sure what is going on, but the Dr. E told me not to worry that the baby was doing just fine.
Pretty much nowadays, I have one thing scheduled and that is what gets accomplished. Monday, I attended my first Newborn Care Class. I'm really glad I went though. They showed this film, "The Happiest Baby on the Block" by Harvey Karp, M.D. For all you new or soon to be new mommie's out there.... it is a must have. In fact, I was so impressed with it that I came home and ordered the book, the DVD and the CD. That is a pretty large thing for me to do since I normally just take the moment in hand when it comes rather than preparing for it. Dr. Karp has established a 5 step program on how to calm your baby when they are unconsolible. I read the reviews on it and seems like moms are very happy with the program. Where was this when Bethany was a baby and never wanted to sleep?
The rest of the week has consisted of doing 1-2 loads of laundry a day and working on my babyshower book. I am almost done with it. As soon as it is all done then I will take pictures and put on here of my finished work. I have about 10 more layouts to do and then I am finished! I made a babyshower book for a friend of mine several years ago. I was so impressed with the finished product that I told myself that if I ever got pregnant this was one expense that I was going to spare whoever hosted my baby shower. I have to say I am really glad I did it because it is turning out even better than my first one. I love the coloring on it as well. Can't wait to share it with you!
So, as you can see, I don't do very much anymore. A trip to the commissary is almost more than I can take anymore. It wears me out so bad that I have a very hard time putting the groceries away once I get home. Running on post for a class tires me so much that I have to have a nap when I get home. And, by the end of the day, it truly feels as if Isaac is trying to push through my old cesarean scar which is truly very painful in itself.
Yesterday, I was 8 months. At this point I am less than 7 weeks to delivery time. I have told Jeff that I really feel Isaac is going to come and visit us a little sooner than his April 1st date. Jeff has ordered Isaac to stay in his womb until after the 18th of March when he flies back in from the States. So, the little man has his orders....lets hope he follows them. I would say I am going to take it easy, but aside from staying in bed all day... I pretty much am already taking it easy. I just don't have a choice anymore.
I hope this finds all of my family and friends well. We are doing good here; just taking things one step at a time these days.
Hugs,
Pam
