The Mommy
I cannot fully express how grateful and excited I was over my shower. Thinking back to that day still excites me beyond belief. Most know that I never had a shower with Bethany. I have attended so many while I was trying to get pregnant over the past 9 years. I can completely say with honesty that I was a little envious (even though I was excited for the mommy). This day was the culmination of many dreams and wishes. It was perfect. Well, except that the dress that I ordered for my shower didn't show up before the party (and still hasn't to this day). Not all was lost though as I have the best husband in the world who on the very next day ran me over to the H&M in Neumarkt to buy my outfit pictured above. I love that man dearly! The Hostesses
Two of my good friends planned this party to the fullest extent. Dawn E. (left) originally hosted my party and then later enlisted my friend from afar, Tina (right). I love them both for all that they had done for this party. You guys are the best!
The Guests
I was so happy to see so many of my friends show up to my party! I know quite a few of my friends missed out for various reasons and I missed seeing all of you. Pictured starting from the front row: Me; second row: Dawn E., Tina, Helene, Leslie, Alexandra, Siouxzie, Kara, Shannon and Bethany; and third row: Heather, Natalie, Ursula and Dawn A. I didn't list their last names for their privacy.
The Cake
Dawn picked up this delicious cake for my shower. Many of you may recognize the resemblance to the shower invitation that you received in the mail (hopefully... a few people have told me that they never received theirs).

The Games
Game 1: The Melted Baby

The babies were frozen in icecubes and dropped into each of the guests glasses. The first person's baby to flow freely was the big winner. Helene was that big winner and scored some awesome polish pottery tealights. I'm still trying to convince her that they would go nicely in my home since they match my pattern. For some reason though, she won't listen to me.....

Game 2: The Ultrasound Game
The second game was the ultrasound game in which 12 different ultrasound pictures were passed around. Each picture was to identify a different part of the anatomy on the baby. I sat out since I have been such a professional with the ultrasound photos. I think I ended up missing 2 out of the 12. The big winner this time was Heather who won a french pattern coffee cup and saucer. Too cute. I really like that too, Heather? Heehee.
Game 3: Baby Trivia

The last game was a baby trivia game. I did fairly well on this game as well. Good thing for these ladies that I didn't play! Siouxzie ended up winning a very nice crystal candy dish that would look really awesome on my coffee table. As you can see, while these ladies are my friend's they didn't give into my whining of being pregnant and needing their gifts.

The Presents
I was blown away with the amount of gifts that I received. I felt like I was opening gifts forever! I am so grateful to all these ladies just for showing up and then they brought such wonderful things for my son. I am totally overwhelmed by their generosity!
Here I am reading cards aloud to my guests and opening their wonderful gifts. For those that attended, you are more than welcome to skip over the next several pictures. The pictures below are mainly for our family so they can see what little Isaac received. Again, thank you guys sooooo much!
Bethany was also blown away when she received a iTunes gift card in a little frog box. I was so happy that she was remembered. I was even happier that she chose to attend and filled out my baby shower book. I love you Bethie and I am soooo glad that you had fun at my shower!

Pam

Pam, It looks like you had such a great time at your shower! Glad you finally got your own shower and got to be the guest of honor. You look great in your outfit..sorry the dress never arrived. That stinks. What a great day for you and for little Isaac!
