After a full week in the hospital, we were released Tuesday, March 25th at 8am. We had to stay an extra night for the breastfeeding issues and to speak to the surgeon about the circumcision. It seemed pretty lonely that last night since Isaac's roomie, Jackson, left that day. Jeff and Bethany came to keep us company and brought KFC! How can life get any better than that? A newborn AND KFC all in one week! Anyhoo, Jeff was very excited when I phoned him so early and said come pick us up immediately. Here are a few of the going home photos.
Is' all excited about getting dressed up in his go home outfit.

Isaac shows off how much he loves his Nan and Oma.

Like everything else he owns, even his socks are way too big for him. They do make great legwarmers though!

All dressed finally. Have I ever told you how much he kicked when he was in the womb? Well, it hasn't stopped. Dressing him can be quite the challenge.
Isaac in his speed racer hat or like Jeff calls him "Izaak die Kosmonaut".

Hurry up, Dad, get me buckled in.

All ready to go in his new car seat and just cute as a little bug!

Finally leaving the hospital and this time with a baby in hand.

All tucked away in the car with not a peep all the way home.

Home and happy as a clam in his little travel swing that Dad picked up for him for his big trip across the lake this summer.
I love the loading in the car seat--His father had a similar experience--not nearly as fancy of a system--car seats were almost new to the scene but we got the biggest kick out of the first load--Stephen and i just started laughing at how complicated the process was--I am sure I really could not figure out this one!
