It's Christmas Time Again!!!!
Ok, Friends, this is where I had said earlier- please feel free to move onto another post. I know it's somewhat tedious and mundane to view other people's Christmas photos. You are more than welcome to look through them and read the comments on this post, but please don't feel obligated.
Family, I am on a roll here. This is probably the first time you have ever been able to view our Christmas photos. They are all untouched photos. I simply don't have the time to make them beautiful as well as the rest of the photos. Consider yourselves lucky that you even get to view them! lol. My own mother says I keep all the photos I take a secret and I have sharing issues. lol. So, at least I am trying to make an effort to get better because I know as soon as Isaac is here the hounding will never cease to see photos of the little guy. Love to all- the photo hoarder!

My belly keeps growing and growing! Everytime I look in the mirror, I get a shock!
My brand new American Eagle robe that Bethie bought me for my future trip to the hospital with Isaac. She has been busy getting me all set up to go. For my birthday, she bought me a new pair of American Eagle fairisle slippers. I love the slippers which are so comfy and this robe is the softest thing I have ever touched!
This is the last of Bethany's favorite Christmas wrapping paper. Bethany has an affection for all things Jewish. I spotted this paper last year while out shopping and she was so jazzed over it. Jeff, of course, shakes his head everytime I pull it out to wrap her gifts. No more head shaking now, it's all gone!
My two boys all excited about Christmas!
Jeff was pretty ecstatic with all of the train goodies that my parents sent to him. He's even happier now that he has his office moved down to the old storage room. He has 3x the space now and finally has a place to setup his train on a permanent basis.

Bethany was very excited to get a Ruehl shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch's new line. They are a fairly new store and she was pretty jazzed to finally get something that quite possibly no one else at school has! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Jeff is a James Bond fanatic. I had taken note one day when he came home talking about the new James Bond coffee book that they had at the PX. After a couple of weeks, I went down to pick it up for him and thank goodness I didn't wait any longer because this was the last copy.

How much does Daddy love his girl? Enough to give her a silver Father/Daughter ring! Jeff has been wearing around one of Bethany's silver rings for quite awhile. He decided that he really wanted her to have a matching one. He bought her one and then had it inscribed, "To Beth Love Dad, Dec 2008"

I love this towel set that I got from my parents. Isaac is going to look so cute in it...

that is if I can get it away from his sister long enough to wrap the boy in it. She grabbed it and took off flying around the living room in it. Such a nutcase, I swear!

Jeff scored with a beautiful wool sweater from me. He has already worn it several times and looks so nice with this blue and white stripe shirt that he bought from the Gap while he was in the States on TDY.

Rocky was going crazy. He kept pacing around the room and staring at us. It was then that we realized that he was upset because we forgot to buy him a Christmas present. Bad parents! Jeff ran downstairs and grabbed one of his toys out of his basket that he never plays with and wrapped it up. Rocky saw it and immediately went nuts unwrapping it. He took the toy and ran over to his bed never to be heard from again that day. Poor guy!

My mom's new hobby is making jewelry. She has made some really fabulous pieces. She made me the most gorgeous Christmas necklace and matching earrings. I received so many complements on it from people. She made a cute charm necklace and bracelet for Bethany which Bethany absolutely adored. She sat there and studied it forever looking at all the different charms on it. It is really cute and I confess I tried to steal it.

We opened a ton of clothing that Isaac's Aunt Thalyta and Uncle Steve sent to Jeff and I. Bethany, of course, snatched a dinosaur outfit that is absolutely adorable. It even has little spikes on the hoodie! I told her that if I want her to take extra special care of Isaac when she had to babysit then I could always dress him up in this. She totally agreed. They sent sooooo many cute little outifits. As Bethany said just a couple days ago when she saw all the clothing stacked in Isaac's crib, "The boy has enough clothes to last him till he's 30!" lol. Or at least until he hits that 3-6 month mark anyways!

Bethany was thrilled that I had remembered to get her some of her favorite perfume "Malia" from Hollister. Her bathroom has remained stinky ever since then.

Jeff was so sweet to get me a new piece for my Christmas market scene. I now have two pieces. This one is the gluhwein lady and I also have a bratwurst guy. I think there are about 4 or 5 other pieces that I am missing. I told Jeff I was going to have to go ahead and buy the others before we leave here so I can have the whole set. They are adorable!

I was so jazzed when I opened up my gift from Jeff's parents. I had seen this table runner in a Pottery Barn catalog awhile back and had wanted it so much. It now lays over my patriotic chest and looks great with a candle in a polish pottery bowl. I just love looking at it.
Yes, Jeff is the luckiest man in the world to have a wife like me who buys him sherpa lined crocs. Seriously though? I just got tired of hearing him whine when I wore mine. hahah.

Bethany loves it when I buy her gift cards from Hollister. I'm not sure it's so much the money on the card as it's more likely the picture of the guy on the card. She also saves her bags from Hollister and Abercrombie because of the cuties on there as well. Yes, my daughter is a nut!

Wow! Bethany couldn't wipe the grin off of her face when she saw that her Pop and Nan sent her a huge Visa card full of bucks. That girl was a shopping fool after Christmas.
Her grin wasn't nearly as big as mine when I opened up a sack from Jeff and found some beautiful solitaire diamond earrings in there for me. I'm still wondering what I did to deserve such a wonderful husband.

Bethany was so surprised when she got a pair of knitted slipper boots from her Oma and Opa. She had been admiring a couple of pairs on the Gap website and when she opened up the box and saw them she was very excited.
More clothes from Isaac's Aunt Thalyta and Uncle Steven. We were totally jazzed over these blanket style bottoms with little moose heads on the feet. They are so adorable and have a cute little matching top. We can't wait to dress Isaac up in all of his new duds.
After getting all of the presents opened, we all set to work on cooking our Christmas dinner. It was a nice lazy day and we all stayed in our Christmas jammies. Jeff made a beer ham. Bethany fixed her yummy scalloped potatoes which everyone should have a bite of. I topped off the meal with some southern style green beans, cranberry sauce, 5 cup salad and some yummy hawaiian bread. It was so nice having the whole family in there helping me out this year.
We had such a nice Christmas this year in spite of not having any additional family. Next year it seems that everyone wants to see us. Loosely translated- everyone wants to see Isaac. lol. Merry Christmas everyone!
Love,
Jeff, Pam, Bethany and Isaac
This photo tour was almost as good as being there.
ReplyDeleteI also got the fur lined crocs(have them on right now). very toasty--oma
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get, and cash, the Christmas check I'll breathe a huge sigh of relief. What a fiasco! Folks: buy Visa Cards from Wal-Mart at your own risk. Beth found how big a mess hers was. From now on - a cashier's check. Fuggedabout Wal-Mart.
