December Begins With Music

The beginning started with a very full schedule for the family. It seemed like we had a commitment every single day for the month. It was kind of crazy to say the least. I did decide to break up my December postings since there are a ton of pictures. Feel free to skip over the Christmas Day posting (soon to come), I think that is more for our families rather than our friends, but you are more than welcome to read on as there are quite a few funny photos on that day.

The month started off with the annual PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) Christmas Party. It was so wonderful. My friend, Shannon, did all the coordinating on the party and it turned out fabulous. I think everyone had a really great time. The Chapel Band and Choir were asked to perform at the party. It gave the party a very homey feel since it was in front of the fire place. Jeff is in the photo. He is the one sitting on the stool and playing the guitar. He really loves performing in the Chapel Band. Lately, he has even been asked by the Catholic service to perform. He reassures me that it was only for two Sundays, so we'll see. I guess he'll be right since he'll be gone for the rest of January, February and most of March. I can't complain too much since he loves what he does. I just worry about over-commitment for him and maybe getting tired of the whole thing which has happened before when he was a music leader for a church we used to attend. Anyhoo, I digressed, the party was great and we sang carols and ate LOTS of goodies and had our very first Christmas Dinner which was just totally scrumptious!

  1. Merry late Christmas Love. Jeff's such a talented guy. He can go from installing a nursery to playing the guitar. Now THAT'S talent. He's going to be the happiest and proudest man on the face of this earth when he finally sees his little guy. If you guys are finished with Pesh we'll take her. Our week with her seemed only a moment.
